This project focused on becoming intimate with a select few typefaces to understand how they differentiate from each other. Before moving to the computer, it began with tracing and shading letterforms of different sizes.
The four square grid was a constraint that required this project to examine how these letterforms worked both individually and together.
It was important that the right letters were chosen either to display special features of those letters or to make sure all four letters worked in conjunction.
